NCARC to Participate in International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend

The Northern Chautauqua Amateur Radio Club (NCARC) will be participating in the International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend from the Barcelona Harbor Lighthouse. The event will run continuously on Saturday, August 19th from 10:00 AM until approximately 5:00 PM. Visitors are welcome to see Ham Radio operators contact Lighthouses & other Hams around the world.

The International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend commemorates all the historic lighthouses and lightships around the world that guide sailors across their voyages. This event is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to visit this historic site. NCARC will have a field station set up at the lighthouse to contact other lighthouses around the world by ham radio.
